The lighted gas pedal also requires electrical modding skill unless plugging directly into the Mike Lane Ultimate Electronics open AUX port. I am not responsible for any damages caused in this process.

Follow the normal installation for STAGE 53. CAREFULLY remove the factory pedals with a pair of plastic side cutters. from parts 53B and 53C. Using a CA glue, reattach the pedals, hold in place for 10 seconds and set aside to cure, or use activator for an instant set. Goo Gone can remove any white residue left on the paint surface from the CA glue. Any CA glue will work, I have previously used cheap hardware store Gorilla Glue High Impact. without any issue, I just prefer the professional stuff because of the variety of nozzle tips. After the glue has set proceed with the install of Stage 53 as normal.

If you are going with the Season 3 & 4 lighted gas pedal, you'll want to snake the wiring up and over to the Trans Am lower console. From here you can wire into our tape deck and continue on by splicing into the lower console LED 44I from STAGE 44. If you want brighter more intense lighting then remove the pre-wired transistor, but I warn you, its going to be very bright. Using Mike Lane's Ultimate Electronics Kit? Good news, you can plug directly into the open AUX port and light both the tape deck and gas pedal together.

Can you solder? If so, toss these in the trash. Not comfortable with soldering? These are for you. These are called solder joints. In the center is a ball of solder that can be melted with a heat gun or a grill lighter. Trim down the clear ends (shrink wrap) before applying to make managing the wires easier when finished. Strip back the wires a bit, dip the bare ends into solder flux, insert into the tubes up the silver band and melt. Done!
