Frequently Asked Questions

This piece replaces the following Fanhome parts: 12C, 12D, and 12E (x2). Parts 12C, 12D and both 12E's can be discarded after installation. Our Energy Cell can be installed by following Fanhome's installation instructions but skipping the battery base completely (12D) and using the peel and stick adhesive on the bottom of the cell. This is covered in our custom installation booklet (coming soon).

Absolutely! To make attaching the battery lines easier, simply warm the tips in hot tap water to soften them. Then, use a toothpick to gently open up the ends of the battery lines. This will help them fit onto the terminals more easily. If needed, you can always secure them with a bit of glue—this is much safer than forcing the fit and risking damage to the terminals.

Nope, but it looks cool! We never saw KITT's real AC Delco battery, this is Christian Witt's 1980's inspired Sci-Fi interpretation and it's a completely awesome replacement for the standard black boring battery.
